San Francisco Bay, Welcome to Your New Legal Resource
We are pleased to provide this new free legal resource for the San Francisco Bay area: Law Soup SF! This new site will cover cities including San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, Berkeley, Daly City, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Santa Rosa, and more!
As you may know, there have been many developments and updates in laws in California and the San Francisco bay area, particularly aimed at helping ease the housing crisis and help workers with higher costs of living. Many cities have instituted or strengthened their rent control laws, and have raised minimum wages. And as we all know, homelessness is an ongoing and growing problem; see how local law attempts to deal with it.
Here’s a not-so-fun-fact: did you know it’s illegal to play any “game of ball” on the streets in San Francisco? Ya, what else can and can’t you do in the streets or public spaces?
Another tidbit for you: despite the free-spirit reputation of the bay area, it is, in fact, generally illegal to be naked in public in San Francisco, Berkeley, and other cities.
And we have everyone’s favorite topic (seriously we get by far the most views on this): parking rules. Especially with the holidays, it’s good to know which parking rules aren’t enforced on holidays in the bay area!

Please let us know what you think. Did we miss anything important? We’ll try to get it up on the site.
